Interactive CrystalFrame Wall

Project description

In June 2019, Axis4 and Jackman were mandated by Lululemon to deliver a custom CrystalFrame Wall solution named “The SweatLifeCommunity Statement Wall”. Having an incredible dedicated community, Lululemon concept was to engage consumer at a personal level by inviting them to share their experiences and goals directly onto the wall. This required a “Goal Share app” to be developed by Jackman and with effective collaboration, an evolutive experience was successfully scheduled. In addition, Lululemon wanted to make sure to incite people to naturally interact with the wall and consequently positioned the digital wall in the middle of a seating area. This new community area has the perfect environment for consumer to come together and share their experiences. Altogether, Lululemon is more than just a simple store, and this digital community wall is the perfect project to demonstrate it.

Interactive transparent digital showcase

Project description

In May 2019, Axis4 and Rümker were mandated by L’Oréal Canada to develop a digital advertising cosmetic showcase for London Drugs. The project consisted of creating an engaging user experience to acquire consumer data, bridge and promote L’Oréal’s own Modiface phone app. and increase featured products visibility. The transparent technology of the CrystalFrame is the perfect tool to contrast and concentrate people’s attention to a precise area. We used black backgrounds with contrasting white cut-outs to provide product information while showing the actual product behind the CrystalFrame. The visual content shown to customer was tailor to attract consumer from far away. In screensaver mode, when no consumer is near the digital showcase, the content shows several call-to-actions to touch the screen. When a customer touches the screen, a main menu is then shown over several products which have also call-to-action to touch each product for specific information. By touching a product, the customer is now shown information about the product, a QR code to download appropriate Modiface app. and a product related ad. In order to maximize the potential of the showcase, we have installed sensors which gathers a large range of data, from occasion-to-see to age and gender demographics. A weekly report is made and sent each week with sensors and app. charts to help optimize and understand the consumer engagements. This showcase is located at London Drugs in Vancouver.

This complete turn-key advertising solution has already proven its high efficiency regarding data collection and consumers participation.

Interactive transparent digital showcase

Project description

In April 2019, Axis4 was mandated by L’Oréal Canada to create a turn-key advertising solution for the Giorgio Armani fragrance division. This project was perfect to showcase our new product, the CrystalFrame Counter. This new revolutionary advertising counter was designed with several key objectives in mind: highlighting consumer products, attracting consumers from a distance, providing supplementary product information and gathering statistical data. For this specific project, the front layout of the counter was designed to showcase Giorgio Armani’s new fragrance Code Absolu by displaying generic branding video over 3 shelves of real Armani products. The top layout of the counter is interactive and was designed to showcase the full line of fragrances by displaying a call-to-action video over all 4 Armani Code products. When a customer touches the top display, a fully customized Giorgio Armani interactive application is activated. Customers are then prompted to touch either directly above each perfumes to discover additional information or to start a quiz which gives them an idea of what perfume would be best suited for them. We have also integrated a contest, where customers can enter a draw to win a box of perfume testers. To optimize and monitor each campaign success, we are gathering many analytical inputs, such as, favorite perfume, amount of subscriptions, amount of touches, amount of navigation, customer emails and customer age.

Project description

In December 2016, Axis4 Media was breaking its own 2015 record by creating a 20 tiles transparent video-wall in Toronto. A total of 4 transparent video-walls were installed throughout Canada : Toronto, Ottawa and 2 in Calgary. In addition, we have managed to increase overall transparency of the most recent installation by 10-15% by using CrystalFrame MKII, our latest version.

Project outcome

Axis4 Media created a new place based advertising space where brand related advertisements and messages can have a true impact on customers. With great and well designed transparent video campaigns, the instant Wow effect attracts customers inside the store. Instant ROI for the client with ad space sales. In Toronto, over 3000 people are walking in front of the video wall every hour.

Project description

In 2018, Axis4 Media was mandated by Decathlon Stores to integrate Crystal-OS Players into all new Canadian stores. For this project, Decathlon needed a remote management solution to control all their advertising displays with ease. With good communication and synergy, the integration of Crystal-OS Players was easy and seamless.

Decathlon as chosen our Crystal-OS Player to be its exclusive content and application broadcasting solution. Our player has proven to work universally with any display all around the world.

In 2017, Axis4 Media was mandated by Videotron Center to create an interactive transparent video wall and to develop a custom mobile application. The application consisted of a search-based user interface where users could locate their name via an opacity vignette. 

Project outcome

The project was featured in newspapers, in television news and to date, have 50 interactions per day.

Project description

In 2015, Axis4 Media was mandated by Bestseller Stores with the integration of 4 record breaking transparent video walls. It was a world premier to build 14 tiles transparent-LCD arrays in-stores to showcase mannequins.

Project outcome

Bestseller Store Canada recorded 11% in traffic increase directly related to the strategic positioning of the transparent video walls in their 4 locations.

This project received an architectural product award by the Grands Prix du Design 2015. The jury called it ”A perfect example of an architectural integration project.” 

Project description

In 2016, Axis4 Media was mandated by Aubainerie to design an interactive dual-CrystalFrame kiosk and to develop Crystal-Playbox native application. This Playbox application allows multi-display video mode for publicity and enables touch-screen abilities. In this case, when kids touch the lower screen, a popular mobile game is then activated and the upper screen is used to display a segmented message for adults. 

Project outcome

Axis4 Media reports statistics from the application and recorded a game opening every 6 minutes on 3 flagship stores. This has proven to be a really effective marketing concept, giving more free time for the parents to shop and less waiting time for the kids. A total of more than 100000 interactions have been registered to date.

In 2018, Axis4 Media was mandated by Desjardins Lab . This project consisted in developing a proof-of-concept, programming the operating software and manufacturing a prototype version. 

Project outcome

The project was shown at Desjardins Lab event and was considered to be the best upcoming project. We have successfully established a new vertical for our products.

Project description

In 2015, Axi4 Media was commissioned to do the industrial design, manufacturing and integration of several interactive stations. The initiative of the project was to improve the purchasing experience in shopping centers over the Holidays and to make them new and attractive destinations for consumers, thereby generating more in-store traffic and conversions. Crystal-OS has been used by the Valtech agency for broadcasting interactive applications and remote monitoring.

Project outcome

Crystal-OS allowed Valtech to update applications and change interactive campaigns remotely. In addition, Ivanhoé Cambridge has been able to engage its clientele through initiatives adapted to each season. The strategy was a success, in the course of 4 consecutive seasons, they have managed to compile thousands of customer emails.

Project description

In November 2017, Axis4 Media contributed to the conception of an aerial sculpture entitled “Tous Azimuts” for the Jean-Lesage International Airport in Quebec City. Using our Crystal-OS solution, we have programmed an interface to sample any videos and to animate the sculpture with its colors and movements, combining visual art and digital technology.

Project outcome

From start to finish, following the artistic vision of the creator was Axis4 Media priority. In order to facilitate the video creation of all the different artistic themes, we have programmed a converter to convert any video content into a pixel grid video. This interface allows the client to create visuals and broadcast them instantly.

Project description

In 2017, Axis4 Media contributed to the conception of a LCD video wall for BMW Grenier in Terrebonne using our Crystal-OS player solution. This project was made in collaboration with Elitronic.

Project outcome

The video-wall created a general wow-effect towards new customers and gave the ability to advertise specific franchisee content. The video-wall can also achieve HD resolution in all its displays, thus providing the ability to broadcast in ultra-high definition. Moreover, this interface allows the client to create visuals and broadcast them instantly.

Project description

In 2015, Axis4 Media was mandated by L’Heureux to integrate CrystalFrames into small commercial fridges. Two specific products by E.J. Gallo were asked to be advertised in relation to SAQ upcoming spring sale. A total of 26 small fridges were installed in 26 SAQ stores and were showcased near the cashier waiting space.

Project outcome

The result were astounding, in comparison to other SAQ stores, the client reported a 200-300% lift during the roll-out.
